How do I book?
Click Check Availability on any page, choose your dates, and complete your booking online. Booking directly on our website gets you our best rate.
When is payment due?
50% is due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is charged 7 days before arrival.
What is your cancellation policy?
You'll receive a full refund of prepayments if you cancel 30 days or more before arrival, and a 50% refund if you cancel at least 7 days before arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance for extra peace of mind.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, there is a 2-night minimum stay.
Is there a security deposit?

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you'd like an early check-in or late check-out, just ask and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
How does check-in work?
Self check-in with a keypad. We'll send your door code and arrival instructions a few days before your stay.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking is available on site for up to 3 vehicles. We also have a garage that can be used to park another car
Do you have EV charging?
Yes! We have a Level 2 EV charger (240V, up to 40 amps) available for guests, so you can charge overnight and head out to Capitol Reef with a full battery. Please bring your own adapter if you have a Tesla.
How many people does the house sleep?
The Torrey House has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 guests.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have high-speed internet throughout the house. Cell service can be limited in Capitol Reef and the surrounding area, so download maps before heading out on trails or scenic drives.
Is the kitchen fully stocked?
Yes! The Torrey House features a luxury chef's kitchen with a granite island and everything you need to cook for the whole group, from high-end cookware and appliances to dishes, a coffee maker, and basic spices.
Are towels and linens provided?
Yes, fresh linens and towels are provided for all guests.
Is there a washer and dryer?
YES
Is the house suitable for kids?
Absolutely! The Torrey House is very family-friendly. Kids love the bunk room, and there's a private outdoor playground to burn off energy after a day of exploring. We also provide a crib, a high chair, and toys, so you can pack lighter.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the house or on the property. The home is equipped with smart smoke detectors, and an additional cleaning fee of $400 may apply if smoking is detected.
How far is Capitol Reef National Park?

Where can I buy groceries and gas?
Torrey has gas and a small general store for basics. For a full grocery run, you will have to go to Loa a 25 minutes drive, so we recommend stocking up on the way.
Are restaurants open year-round?
Many restaurants in Torrey are seasonal and may close or reduce hours in winter, so check before you go.
Is the area good for stargazing?
Yes! The Torrey area has some of the darkest skies in the country. On a clear night, head up to the observation deck and use the telescope we provide to explore the Milky Way, planets, and more. Please handle the telescope with care; a $300 replacement fee applies if it's damaged.
What's the best time of year to visit?
Spring and fall are ideal, with mild temperatures for hiking. Summers are warm in the park and cooler up on Boulder Mountain. Winter is quiet and beautiful, with occasional snow and fewer crowds.
Are the roads open in winter?
The main highway to Torrey and Capitol Reef is generally open year-round, but snow and ice can occur, especially over Boulder Mountain on Scenic Byway 12. We recommend a vehicle with 4WD or AWD in winter and checking UDOT road conditions before you travel.
